DAG Ambassadors

Dress a Girl Around the World is a Campaign under Hope 4 Women International (a 501 (c) 3 organization) bringing dignity to women around the world since 2006.  Hope 4 Women International is a nondenominational independent Christian organization.  Visit our websites to learn more at Hope 4 Women International and Dress A Girl Around the World.

We dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress.  We want girls to know that they are worthy of respect, and that they are loved by God.

Each Dress A Girl Around the World chapter is semi-autonomous, in that we know what dresses are requested by the missions to whom we send.  In our SF Bay Area chapter, we will only accept the sundress pattern unless you have made prior arrangements with us to make a dress using another pattern.  Please make sure that you follow both the INSTRUCTIONS and GUIDELINES of our group when submitting dresses to us.

Suzanne keeps the SF Bay Area DAG under control!  With over 300 women in the Bay Area involved and over 30,000 dresses delivered since our inception in May 2011, we have to be organized.   Our Sew-Fests feature different 'stations' where all kinds of volunteers can help, whether they can sew or not.  Each station features a different task to help the dress along the way to completion.  Suzanne keeps us organized and cracks the whip! :) . And, we couldn't do it all without Eric, as he sets up our electrical system and hauls all of our paraphernalia in and out of the various halls where we meet.  (He also is known as "Mr. Dress-A-Girl.")
